Blow-by gases emitted from the combustion chamber are mixed with engine oil and returned to the intake stroke, but under normal conditions, this can cause problems such as oil accumulating in the intercooler and oil spillage that can contaminate the air flow meter and other components of the intake system. The NISMO oil separator separates the oil from the blow-by gases returned from the cylinder head to the intake stroke, preventing contamination of the air flow meter and reducing oil accumulation in the intercooler. At the same time, the oil separated in the oil separator is designed to return to the oil pan, reducing engine oil consumption. Blow-by gases are returned to the engine and not released into the atmosphere.
