PONCAM Camshafts - Exhaust 256 and Intake 260
When the cam opens the valve, a high acceleration (G) 1 is required because a large amount of air-fuel mixture can be effectively sucked in a short time. However, on the contrary, when closing the valve, if the acceleration (G) is high, the impact on the valve seat and the load on the valve spring will increase, so it is necessary to lower the acceleration (G) and seat the valve quietly. Therefore, by making the intake and exhaust profiles non-target and controlling the acceleration to an appropriate value, the impact on the seat and the load on the spring were significantly reduced, and the rotation margin and the reliability of the valve train were improved. Intake angle 260deg with 9.8mm lift. Exhaust angle 256deg with 10.8mm lift. *Valve spring replacement not required. Valve timing adjustment not required.
