Metal Head Gasket - Super Grommet Type
The dual seal system of bead structure and metal grommet improves the gas sealability of the outer circumference of the bore as well as the cooling water and oil seal to the maximum. SUS301, which is a supple material with good followability, is used for the bead structure top plate. It has excellent heat resistance and durability, and it is possible to effectively transfer the heat of the head and cylinder to the cooling water to cool it, so the temperature does not rise locally, so it is difficult for blow-by to occur. In addition, since stainless steel is also strong in tensile strength, the bead follows the repeated deformation of the cylinder, which is advantageous for stairwell, and the joint rigidity between the head and block can be increased.
