Intake Collector (Cast Aluminum)
The diameter and length of the intake pipe and the cross-sectional shape of the collector have been revised in pursuit of the optimal shape for tuned engines (400-600ps). The air inflow volume has been improved to distribute air more evenly to each cylinder, improving torque in the mid-speed range. As the intake volume between the front and rear cylinders is improved, the difference in exhaust temperature at the turbine inlet between them is reduced, optimizing the air-fuel ratio and ignition timing, resulting in improved power and fuel economy. Installation is a bolt-on type that requires no additional processing besides throttle linkage and sensor adjustments. *Difference in exhaust gas temp at the front and rear turbocharger inlet 2400-7600 rpm has been improved by an avg of 18%. Between 4800-7600 rpm, power output has been improved by an avg of 1.8%, while fuel economy has also been improved by an avg of 0.4%. Requires engine removal to install. Requires ECU tune.
