Metal Head Gasket
The bead structure and the dual seal method of the metal grommet improve the gas sealability of the outer circumference of the bore as well as the cooling water and oil seal to the maximum. By using stainless steel with high thermal conductivity as the material of the gasket, the heat of the upper end of the cylinder block can be transferred to the cylinder head side for effective cooling. Since it does not get hot locally, it is difficult for stairwells to occur. In addition, stainless steel has high strength, which is advantageous for stairwells and can increase the joint rigidity between the head and block. A strong head-block connection increases the overall rigidity of the engine, reduces twisting and bending, and improves the durability of moving bearings.
