D-Shaped Steering Wheel (Leather)
MINE'S original leather steering wheel for R35 GT-R finished by combining the finest leather and Alcantara. For the top and under parts of the grip, we used Nappa leather, which is used in European luxury cars. Nappa leather is chrome-tanned leather that has a very fine and soft texture that makes it look beautiful. Alcantara is used in the normal grip position. Taking advantage of its comfortable feel and non-slip properties, we have selected materials that give due consideration to design and functionality. The shape features are that the outer diameter of the steering wheel has been reduced by 5 mm, the entire grip has been made moderately thick, and the D-shaped shape has been adopted to enhance originality. It is a GT-R exclusive steering that produces a high sense and sportiness from the material used to the shape.
