Replacement Roof Panel (Dry Carbon Fiber)
The dry carbon roof for R35 GT-R has been completed. Put a mold with prepreg (a carbon-woven cloth infiltrated with resin) into a heat-resistant resin bag, and remove the air in a vacuum to bring it into close contact with the mold. The product in that state is baked while being pressurized with an autoclave (pressurizing and heating kettle) to transform it into a stronger carbon product. It is about 4.9kg lighter than genuine steel plate material. In addition, we have performance comparable to strength. As for painted products, smoke treatment is applied to the conventional super clear paint, and when viewed from a distance, it looks like a piano black, but the outdoors in the sunlight is slightly insisting on carbon eyes. Finished with paint.
