High Flow Throttle Body System (Modification Service)
Mines' original "High Flow Throttle System" has expanded the throttle diameter by 2.5mm to increase the flow path area, correct the step inside the throttle to the minimum, and further improve the performance to the utmost by internal surface treatment and shaft processing. The inner surface of the genuine throttle has fine irregularities like a satin finish. At Mines, we have achieved an ideal Venturi shape and a more mirror-like finish by cutting the inner surface with diamond and driving it to the micro unit. In addition, the shaft on which the large butterfly is mounted has been reduced in wall thickness to the limit where strength can be maintained. For the butterfly-mounted screws, we have adopted special dimensions for countersunk screws to prevent them from protruding from the shaft. It works more effectively as the throttle opening increases.
