The obvious advantage that you can see the moment you step on it is the "good controllability" brought about by the rotor accuracy. It responds to small changes in input with your fingertips, making it easier to create a posture for entering corners. Any rotor will be distorted by repeated thermal expansion and contraction during braking. However, if the brake pad is distorted beyond the slight amount that can be covered by deformation, a heat spot will be created and the rotor will undulate, the pad will start skipping on the rotor, and the original controllability of the brake pad will not be exhibited. The V3 rotor kit seeks to reduce distortion in order to bring out the full potential of the pad.
