Low Temp Thermostat
A low temperature thermostat with a valve opening temperature of 68C. The water temperature at which maximum power is generated is generally said to be around 70 degrees. As the intake air temperature rises above 70C, the output decreases due to volume ratio changes, because the computer is programmed to retard the ignition timing to avoid detonation. VTEC engine with relatively high water temperature. This seems to be a problem related to compliance with exhaust gas regulations and fuel efficiency. Uses a flow control valve that prevents sudden hunting (fluctuations in water temperature) and changes the flow rate.
