Low Temp Thermostat
Operating temperature 65deg (c) (genuine 78 deg (c)). Fully open temperature 83 deg (c) (genuine 90 deg (c)). In Honda vehicles with high power engines, water temperature and engine power are closely related. When the water temperature rises, the ECU takes measures to avoid a crisis (correction MAP) such as increasing the amount of fuel and retarding the ignition timing, and a sudden power down starts.
