Is there a warrenty? ..
YES, the main body of the engine, head and block, are both covered under warrenty, but ONLY if installed by a qualified technician. We garantee you a clean, low mileage engine direct from Japan that has passed both leak-down and compression testing and is free from any internal damage. External parts/accessories are considered extras / freebies an are not covered under warrenty..
Comressoion & Leak Down Tested? ..
YES, all of our motors are compression and leak-down tested in the US! The results are on the motor.
RECOMMENDATIONS ..
1) Replace as much on the JDM motor as possible, Including timing belt, gaskets, sensors, distr., ect..
2) Perform a full tune up, including a full flush & refill of all the fluids.
3) The motor should be installed , maintained, and/or adjusted by a qualified technician.
4) Reserve funds for required swap parts or old parts that could use replacing (ex: broken senors, linkage ..).
5) Make sure you can go w/o a car for a month or so incase theres trouble/delay with the installation.
6) Talk to someone who has done the swap before. Visit a site like www.accordracing.com.
